Doodle Series #21

Hey guys!

Just took a study break and decided to make a quick calligraphy piece. Barnes and Nobles is practically my second home and having books in the background of these pictures completed it.
Hope you all have an amazing break with your loved ones!
Happy Thanksgiving from me to you.

Enjoy!

Doodle Series #20

Hey guys!

I know I know, it's been a while. I'm sorry. Exams just seem to never stop! And now finals are near? Where did the time go? Anyways, so I found some time and sat down to dedicate to my drawings last night. I started this piece about a month or so ago but never got the time to finish it. This was requested by one of my friends and hopefully soon, I'll be turning it into a phone case for him! I'll post the final outcome back here once it's all done.

Hope everyone is studying hard and drinking some delicious hot chocolate in this cold weather.
Also, e-mail me feedback or any requests on what you all would want to see in my drawings.

Enjoy!

Mini Cider Mill Shoot

Hey guys!

This past weekend I went down to the cider mill with a couple of my friends. The weather was extremely gorgeous, especially the sun. The sun was making me way too happy that day since the pictures were coming out amazing with the little bokeh going on. I was itching to grab my camera and go out to take some pictures of the lovely autumn weather we have going on here. Sadly, since I was limited on time because of exams, I could only snap a few. But don't worry, I plan to dedicate a whole day to my photography very soon. Below are some pictures of my gorgeous friends along with some nature snaps that I took. Hope everyone is enjoying the cozy weather.

Enjoy!

Doodle Series #19

Hey guys!

It's been a while eh? I've been working on this piece for over a week and finally got done just a while ago. Shoutout to my lovely friend for requesting this one. This was honestly a tough one and pretty fun to make since it was half sketch, and half doodle. Don't forget to send in requests because i'm up for anything challenging.

Enjoy!

Frankenmuth Blooms

Hey Guys!

I had the chance to go up to Frankenmuth (also called Michigan's little Bavaria) with my family a couple weeks ago. Frankenmuth is mainly a small German town full of fun activities for everyone. They provide private boat tours, have amazing fudge, world's number one Christmas Wonderland (all year long), golfing, water parks, horse carriage rides, etc. It's a nice place to visit when you're tired of the busy life and want to get away to a peaceful environment. The workers there dress in their traditional clothes, and if you get lucky... some even have an awesome accent. I took tons of pictures of the flowers there because they were so unique and different than what I usually see. If you ever get a chance to visit this cute little town, don't forget to try their mackinac road island fudge ice-cream (soooo good).

Enjoy!

DIY Gift Basket

Happy Fall Everyone!

Today I will be giving you guys a short tutorial on how to make a gift basket. These nifty things can go for any occasion and are a great way to put thoughtful presents for your loved ones. I was getting tired of giving the same old cliché gifts and wanted to try something different. Thank God for Pinterest, I was able to find many ideas on how to make my own DIY project. I incorporated some of my own idea's with this project as I went along putting it together. Since my friend was turning 20, I decided to get 20 things that describe her in a way/things she likes. Honestly, I believe that making something for someone with your own hands and incorporating little details that only stand out to them makes it a memorable and cherishable gift. It shows how much time and effort you put in for them and gives it a whole new meaning. Alright, enough of the blabbing... let's move on to the tutorial!

Supplies:
  • Basket (I got mine from Michael's and they have tons of choices)
  • Transparent Gift Wrap (Color: Red)
  • Bow (Color: Purple) <--- her favorite color
Steps:
  • Go out and buy some things to fill up your basket. You can even make some gifts on your own, e.g., bake something, sketch, draw, put together a CD of their favorite music, picture frame, etc
  • Once your basket is filled with goodies, take the transparent gift wrap and cover your items while tucking the wrap inside the basket
  • Lastly, compliment your basket with a bow to complete the project
Good luck and don't be afraid to e-mail me how yours turned out.

Enjoy!

Doodle Series #18

Hey Guys!

I'm back! Sorry about the long delay. School just started a few weeks back and now exams are in full swing. I actually ran out of ink in my pens which is why I wasn't able to draw much. Finally was able to stop by the store and buy new ones, and now I'm back at the drawing streak again. Hope everyone's fresh start to the new school year is going smoothly.

Enjoy!

Ray & Linda's Photoshoot

Hey Guys!!

I am so excited to share the pictures from the photoshoot I did a couple weeks ago. Just got done editing the last picture and literally screamed with happiness. First off, this was my first couple photoshoot and I was a bit hesitant because I myself get uncomfortable with anything that involves "couples". Surprisingly, this whole experience changed my perspective on that. Linda and Ray were so darn adorable and fun to work with that I honestly can't wait to do more of these kind of shoots in the future. Right on the bat Ray told me that he wouldn't do any of those typical poses that would make both of them uncomfortable along with myself. Thank God we all were on the same page. Taking natural shots is both meaningful and memorable, which I think is the best way to go. Of course, I added some of my own props which included the chalk board and frame. Once we met up in Downtown, Detroit we started off with the shoot. It was a hot and humid day which was a buzkill because I was sweating buckets (okay ew... not really but kind of) and i'm sure both of them were not having a ball to be walking around in the hot weather. Having to shoot from different angles which involved me laying down on the ground several times was annoying but so so so worth it. I have to brag about these two but they are such naturals! I was shocked beyond words because I always wondered how couples do these shoots. They were both always laughing, talking, picking on one another like no one was around. During the shoot i'd keep "awing" like a freak because my heart was melting from the true affection they both had for one another. Gotta applaud these two for being so patient with me and making this experience one to remember and cherish.

Alright alright, enough of the blabbing... Hope you all like them!
