Oreo Truffles

Hey Guys!

I had been planning on starting my own personal cook book for years, but I never got around to it simply because I wanted to do something unique with it. I was set on creating a binder with my recipes and calling it a day, however one day I thought, why not incorporate art into my cook book? Why not think outside of the bubble and make the experience of writing out recipes fun! I love to cook which is why I decided to incorporate the colorful aspect of cooking into my cook book through my vision of art. I will be posting more of my recipes from my cook book on here so stay tuned for more!

Enjoy!

Cheesecake Brownies

Hey guys!

Last night I made some delicious cheesecake brownies! Thats right, brownies with a different touch. Prepping took much longer than I expected only because I'm a slow stirrer. All in all, the outcome was great and they taste just how I wanted them to. Now, let's get started with the ingredients and steps shall we?

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg (13x9-inch pan size) brownie mix
  • 4 pkg (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 squares Baker's semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted, cooled slightly

How to make them:

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Prepare brownie batter using the instruction on the back of the brownie mix box
  • Spray pan with cooking spray (if not available use vegetable oil and a brush to spread in pan)
  • Pour batter into pan and bake for 15 min or until top of brownie is shiny and center is ALMOST set

  • Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer until well blended
  • Add sour cream, then continue mixing well
  • Add eggs, 1 at a time until well blended
  • Pour the mix over the partially baked brownie batter in pan

  • Now, bake for 40 min or until center is set
  • Take it out and let it cool for 15 min

  • Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight
  • Let it stand at room temperature for 30 min before serving
  • Lastly, drizzle with chocolate and let it stand till chocolate is firm

~Bon Appétit and Good Luck!

Enjoy!
